As Star Pipe Products celebrates its 1st Anniversary of Domestic Fitting and Joint Restraint manufacturing, we would like to share a few highlights and provide an update on where we stand after our first year.

• June 2009 - Announced commitment to manufacture Domestic fittings and restraints at AWWA in San Diego
• September 2009 – Shipped 1st domestic fitting and joint restraint order
• December 2009 – Announced plans to add a 30,000 sf state-of-the-art Production Facility at our Corporate Headquarters in Houston
• February 2010 – Shipped 48" fittings for an ARRA project in Oklahoma
• April 2010 – Shipped 42" and 48" Stargrips for DIP for an ARRA project in Virginia
• May 2010 – Announced plans to develop PVC bell harness restrainers
• June 2010 – Production Facility completed and fully operational
• July 2010 – Current status of domestic stock position in Houston:
  • Over 10,000 fittings
  • Over 12,000 Ductile and PVC Stargrips
  • Over 2,500 units of PVC Bell Harness Restrainers on the shelf

We are very proud of what we have been able to achieve in such a short period, and we could not have done it without the support and backing of our customer partners. We are committed to manufacture both domestically and globally for the Waterworks Industry for a long time to come.

Pete Lisowski, North East Division Manager, currently has five sons serving in the armed forces, four of them as officers and one as an "officer in training" in the Air Force ROTC at the University of Dayton.  

They were featured this past Memorial Day in Scranton's Times Tribune.
